MEET JOE GEREAGHTY

From the time I was a child, I felt a connection to the shore.
I was lucky enough to spend my summers at my grandfather’s shore house. As an adult, my wife and I purchased a second home at the shore and became weekend warriors.  Any days we were not working, we traveled to the shore.  We made many great memories there with our twin daughters and family, including holidays throughout the year. But it was a lot of work maintaining two homes. We then decided to sell both houses and make the permanent move to the shore. It was the best decision ever!

My wife and I had the experience of maintaining a second home from a distance. This included drives to the house just to check on it in the winter and worries about the property during bad weather. Not to mention, delayed trips to the beach on sunny summer days because home maintenance items needed our attention. Being a Police Officer, the security of our home was always a concern as well.  This is where the idea of Beach House Property Management developed. Upon retirement from the Police Department, I merged my side business of small home repairs and power washing with property management. My goal is to enable other families to enjoy the shore and be worry free in the off season while l handle their home maintenance and property checks.
